Purpose
The purpose of Retta Baptist Church is to love God and others through focused worship, effective discipleship, and reaching the lost for Christ in our community and throughout the world while being centered in the study and proclamation of God's Word, prayer, genuine relationships, and ministry.
Core Values
As the Body of Christ at Retta Baptist Church, we are committed to CONTINUAL SPIRITUAL RENEWAL in order to nurture and facilitate the transformation of individuals in the power of the Holy Spirit from the inside out through the following core values as a means of accomplishing the five biblical church functions of:

Vision
Our vision statement at Retta is made up of five basic initiatives.
Discipleship
To involve members in study and ministry opportunities that result in intellectual and spiritual growth as we seek to imitate Christ.
Evangelism
To make God known to all, starting in our community and going to the ends of the earth.
Ministry
To serve those who believe in Jesus Christ and those who do not in His and for His glory.
Fellowship
To be an active part of a community of faith growing into the likeness ofJesus Christ.
Worship
To live a life of worship and to participate with the congregation of believers in the worship of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
