It’s Time to Intercede

“Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in the time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

If ever there has been a time for us to intercede on behalf of our families, our country and our world, it is now. This week I would like to draw your attention to praying over a particular area each day. All throughout the day focus on this need and bring it up before the Lord. Remember, we will, get through this!

Monday: All medical personnel

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • EMT responders

Tuesday: All emergency personnel

  • Police
  • Firefighters
  • Pharmacists
  • Military

Wednesday: Those who serve in essential areas of need

  • Grocery stores and those who work restocking, cleaning, check out, etc.
  • Truck drivers
  • Those who drive with passengers

Thursday: Our families

  • Your individual family members
  • Your neighbors

Friday: Our church

  • All ministerial staff, deacons, secretaries, and custodians
  • All daycare workers and the children they have

Saturday: Our Country

  • President and Vice President
  • City and state
  • Nation as a whole

Sunday: Revival

  • Nation as a whole
  • Safety and protection
  • Salvation for the lost. Renewals for those who have gotten away
  • God to be seen, felt, and lifted up!
