Retta’s Kids

Our Children’s Ministry goal is to support parents in guiding every child to come to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We encourage children and their parents to grow in friendship and faith with other Christians. We also desire for them to enjoy one another and be excited about experiencing God and exploring His Word. We want your children to enjoy being here because children learn best when they are having fun. Retta is a fun, safe place offering worship, praise, prayer, fellowship, Bible study and ministry. We consider it a privilege that you share your children with us and can’t wait to welcome your family at Retta.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Retta Children's Ministry is to introduce children and their families to the saving power and redemption found only in Jesus Christ, and to disciple them in a lifelong relationship with Him while empowering the children and their parents to share the Gospel with their neighbors and community resulting in impacting the world for Christ.​

  • Leaders in Training / Nehemiah Kids

    The purpose of Leaders in Training (LIT) and the younger breakout Nehemiah Kids is to help children discover their identity in Christ, to disciple and equip them, and to help them find places of service in the church and on the mission field. We challenge our preteens to have a daily quiet time with the Lord and develop a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • DISCOVERY Kids

    Ramp up the energy and the fun as you explore the awesomeness of God! This is our fun ministry for our preschoolers and kindergartners!

Sundays

9:45am - Noon

  • Sunday School

    We offer age-appropriate Bible studies for babies all the way through 6th graders! Just as older elementary kids can be challenged to investigate the Bible for themselves, even toddlers can learn that God loves them and the Bible is a very special book.

  • Children's Worship

    While some kids are very happy to listen carefully, others need to move around while they praise and learn. We offer a special time of worship for kids 6 weeks through 6th grade during the pastor’s sermon.
